Talking to Voice

This is an interactive installation creates audio-visual communication by public audience. Any sound and noise made by the audience will be visually projected on huge screen or wall of gallery in real-time. All sound and noise goes through a customised matrix system on a computer that transforms audio data into visual spectrum. A matrix is a grid, with each location in the grid containing some information in computer programming. Thus, real-time analysis of the sound will be shown in front of the audience in huge scale which shows frequency, amplitude, sound intensity and speed of sound. The audience will be encouraged to experience relation between audio and visual but also create a visual composition they can only see by using their own voice or noise. Invisible exist of common and familiar sound will be intimately visualised, redefined and the audience will be able to establish audio-visual language in intriguing and interactive way by using realtime audio visualising system.
