MOEBIUS is based on a former auditive installation where an actual room and a virtual one, reproduced by four loudspeakers, acoustically react to form a walkable sound sculpture.
It has now been further developed into an immersive audiovisual live performance. Any sound you hear is created by yourself or the room you find yourself in.
In an unceasing feedback loop the sound of the room is recorded through microphones and subsequently played back via a surround loudspeaker setup. The room’s unique acoustics and
resonances interact with the sonic movements and form its own sound sphere, which is then going to be sampled, digitally processed and rearranged into a musical performance.
